Job Description

Pure Water Technology is looking for a Mechanical Draughtsman to be responsible for preparing detailed 2D and 3D drawings and technical documentation for mechanical components, systems, and assemblies. This role requires strong proficiency in CAD software, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering concepts into accurate technical designs that support manufacturing and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and revise detailed mechanical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software. Work closely with mechanical engineers and project teams to interpret concepts and specifications. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project requirements. Maintain and update drawing logs, databases, and documentation archives. Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM), technical datasheets, and related documentation. Review and correct drawings based on engineering feedback and field markups. Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, civil, etc.) to ensure design integration. Support site teams with drawing clarifications and revisions when needed. Maintain confidentiality of design data and ensure proper version control.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field. Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) as a Mechanical Draftsman. Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent design software. Good knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and industry standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in HVAC, piping, or MEP drafting. Familiarity with international drafting standards (ASME, ISO, etc.). Exposure to BIM tools like Revit is a plus.
