Nad Al Shiba Engineering Consultants is a reputed multidisciplinary consultancy firm based in Dubai, offering high-quality architectural, structural, and MEP design and supervision services for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the UAE.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

Mechanical Draftsman / Modeler

with

5-8 years of experience in the UAE

to join our MEP team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in preparing HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting drawings and models, along with a good understanding of site coordination and authority requirements.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

mechanical drawings and 3D models

using AutoCAD and Revit. Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy and consistency. Develop HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting layouts based on project requirements and site conditions. Update drawings as per engineer comments and site modifications. Ensure all drawings comply with UAE standards and authority regulations (DEWA, DCD, etc.). Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project completion.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5-8 years of

UAE experience

as a Mechanical Draftsman/Modeler (preferably in a consultancy firm). Proficiency in

AutoCAD

and

Revit

(mandatory). Strong knowledge of

HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems

. Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and approval processes. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
