Job Overview

COENGR is seeking an experienced

Mechanical Draftsman (FLS)

with strong expertise in Fire & Life Safety (FLS) systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings in compliance with

Abu Dhabi Civil Defence (ADCD) regulations

, ensuring high-quality design documentation and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and detailed

FLS drawings

(Firefighting, Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting) in line with

ADCD regulations

. Develop neat and precise technical drawings using

AutoCAD and Revit

. Take material quantities and prepare

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

for projects. Interpret and draft from architectural, structural, and elevation drawings. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure design accuracy and compliance. Make necessary revisions to drawings based on project requirements and site changes. Maintain attention to detail and ensure technical precision in all documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

3-6 years in a similar role within the construction industry in

Abu Dhabi

(mandatory).

Software Skills:

Proficiency in

AutoCAD & Revit

(mandatory); knowledge of other drafting tools is an advantage. Strong understanding of

construction methods, materials, and building codes

. Ability to

interpret sketches and verbal instructions

into technical drawings. Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines. Effective

communication and collaboration

skills for working with multidisciplinary teams. Problem-solving ability to resolve design issues and site modifications.
