Next Engineering Consultants is looking for a detail-oriented
Mechanical Draftsman
with
5+ years of experience
to produce mechanical design drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. The role involves close coordination with engineers and other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed mechanical design drawings (HVAC layouts, ducting, plumbing, firefighting systems).
Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams for design integration.
Revise drawings based on design updates, site feedback, and authority comments.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and company standards.
Keep drawing files well-organized and up to date.
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years
of experience in mechanical drafting in an engineering consultancy environment.
Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or BIM tools is advantageous.
Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting design principles.
Ability to interpret mechanical design documents and technical specs.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Available for immediate joining or within a short notice period.
