Position Overview As a Mechanical Draftsman, you will collaborate with mechanical engineers and supervisors across various settings, including workshop conditions and plant sites within the UAE, with occasional assignments in other GCC locations. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Technical Drawing & Modeling: Creating 2D CAD Fabrication Drawings, 3D Modeling, 3D Rendering, Shop Drawings, As-Built Drawings, Isometric, and Assembly Drawings for piping arrangements, utilizing specific CAD software.
• Design Collaboration & Refinement: Compiling initial drawings, calculations, and design ideas into complete models for review, while coordinating with engineers and project managers to refine designs and ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
• Project Documentation & Quality Control: Managing project documentation, ensuring design/specification compliance, coordinating with suppliers and the fabrication team, conducting quality checks, and overseeing project scheduling and material procurement through BOQ and BOM creation.
• Engineering Team Support: Supporting the engineering team by delivering technical drawings and digital models on time, incorporating all necessary design details, and contributing to the standardization of design document practices through active participation in meetings and preparation of presentation materials.
• Adaptability & Efficiency: Demonstrating adaptability to changing project demands and ability to work under tight deadlines, ensuring project efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education & Certification: Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, complemented by Professional Certification in Mechanical Drafting.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D Toolset, SolidWorks, Rhino 7 for detailed design and modeling, and Microsoft Office Suite for project documentation and communication.
• Technical Communication: Excellent technical communication skills for effective collaboration with engineers and manufacturing personnel.
• Attention to Detail & Mathematical Skills: Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities for accurate design and calculations.
• Deadline Management: Ability to meet strict deadlines, ensuring timely project delivery.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English (B2-C1 CEFR level recommended) for clear communication in speaking, reading, and writing.
