Responsibilities: Product Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop new mining and heavy equipment products.

Apply engineering principles to develop designs that meet performance, safety, and efficiency requirements. Innovation and Improvement:Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization in existing equipment designs to enhance performance, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
Research and implement emerging technologies and materials to improve the efficiency and durability of our products. Simulation and Analysis: Conduct structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations to validate and optimize designs before prototyping and manufacturing.
Analyze simulation results to make informed design decisions and iterate on designs as needed. Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to create prototypes of new designs for testing and validation purposes.
Analyze test data and feedback to refine designs and address any issues identified during testing. Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive engineering documentation, including design specifications, technical drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and assembly instructions.
Present design concepts, progress updates, and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of designs into the production process.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master\'s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in the mining, heavy equipment, or construction machinery industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., Finite Element Analysis) to optimize designs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
