Job Description

Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes. Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems. Checking vehicle lighting systems. Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the workshop Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles--

Volvo, SCANIA & MERCEDES TRUCKS.

Performing inspections and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced. Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes. Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly and in compliance with state regulations. Maintaining accurate records relating to clients, their vehicles, parts, and service history.

Mechanic Requirements:

High school diploma / ITI--mechanical or automotive or equivalent. 2- 5+ years' experience as a diesel mechanic for trucks Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles and follow safety instructions and directions. Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment. Ability to lift up to 75 Kg Excellent reading and writing skills Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
