Position Overview
The Mechanic - Petrol and Diesel - Emirates Logistics Dubai will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance. The role involves carrying out inspections, assembling mechanical components, preparing estimates, and following scheduled maintenance tasks in line with company standards.

Core Duties

• Inspect and assess vehicles or machinery to diagnose issues and determine repair needs
• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical problems and propose solutions
• Repair and assemble mechanical components according to specifications
• Provide work estimates or quotes for repairs when required
• Follow scheduled maintenance tasks and perform necessary upgrades
• Maintain accurate logs, repair histories, and maintenance records
• Monitor spare parts inventory and request replacements when necessary
• Keep workshop tools and equipment clean, safe, and in good working condition
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies during all maintenance activities

Candidate Requirements

• Secondary school certificate, trade certificate, or vocational training in mechanical repair
• Entry-level experience in vehicle and machinery maintenance; workshop experience preferred
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and vehicle mechanical systems
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
