Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of heavy trucks, including engine oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on vehicles.
Inspect and repair engine systems, transmissions, suspensions, steering, brakes, and fuel systems.
Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare condition reports.
Perform troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and software (where applicable).
Replace faulty parts and components using hand and power tools.
Collaborate with workshop team members to ensure timely completion of jobs.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Keep the workshop area clean, safe, and organized.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy vehicle systems, and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
Hands-on experience with different truck types, especially construction vehicles (mixers, concrete pumps, etc.).
Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and air brake systems.
Valid driver's license.
Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment.
