Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems.
Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex problems and make accurate repairs.
Run and analyze diagnostic tests on vehicle engines
Checking vehicle lighting systems.
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance.
Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
Communicate effectively with Department Head to provide updates on repair progress or any potential issues.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Degree or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering
Minimum 4-5 years' experience in similar role
SKILLS
Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components.
Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools.
Collaborate and frequent communication between mechanics and technicians
Extensive knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques, tools, and diagnostic equipment
Reliable and has good communication skills
