We are looking for a versatile Mechanic who can handle both
basic car maintenance
for company vehicles and
repair/servicing of dewatering pumps
used at project sites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both areas.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic vehicle maintenance: oil changes, brake services, filter replacement, battery checks, tire inspection, and general troubleshooting.
Diagnose and repair issues in company cars, pickups, and light vehicles.
Carry out maintenance and repair of dewatering pumps, including diesel engines, impellers, hoses, seals, and related components.
Conduct field repair support for pumps at project sites when required.
Maintain service logs and report completed work to the workshop supervisor.
Ensure all repairs follow safety and manufacturer standards.
Assist with workshop organization and equipment upkeep.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and/or pump repair.
Knowledge of basic automotive systems: engine, brakes, electrical, AC, suspension.
Experience with dewatering pumps or small diesel engines is an advantage.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems independently.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.
Basic communication skills in English or Hindi/Urdu.
