Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.Conduct routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, brake checks, and fluid replacements.Perform detailed vehicle inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues.Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle performance and detect malfunctions.Repair or replace defective vehicle components and systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and services performed.Should be excellent in explaining repair procedures and recommendations for preventive maintenance.

Qualification

Education and Training:High school diploma or equivalentDiploma or certification in automotive technology, automotive mechanics, or a related field from a recognized technical or vocational institute

Experience:

3-5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance (workshop or dealership experience preferred).Experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including European and luxury brands, is a plus.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, air conditioning, suspension, and electrical systems.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment (e.g., OBD-II scanners, multimeters, alignment machines).Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair instructions.

Certifications (Preferred):Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification or equivalent.Certifications in specialized automotive systems (e.g., HVAC, advanced diagnostics).UAE driving license is often required

Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Good communication and customer service skills (ability to explain repairs and recommendations to clients).Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, standing for long periods, and working in tight spaces.Awareness of workplace safety protocols and the ability to maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.Familiarity with UAE automotive market trends, local regulations, and RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) vehicle inspection and compliance standards.

T & C Salary: As per market value and experience

Visa: To be issued after a two-month probation period
