HELICOPTER MECHANICS 2ND LINE SERVICING (LINE MAINTENANCE) UH - 60L "BLACK HAWK"
JOB ROLE Scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks. Checks, diagnostics, repair, modifications - working to company service manuals. Reports directly to the Supervisor for all aspects of aircraft, facility, tool and equipment, and administrative requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualification: FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent. High School Diploma / Graduation military or commercial aircraft maintenance or airframe repair school or course preferred. Training Certificates / Course Certificates - UH 60
EXPERIENCE Minimum of 6 Years Aviation Maintenance Minimum of 3 Years Mechanic on aircraft type. Must have thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance on the relevant aircraft.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to read, write and understand English.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist the maintenance supervisor to accomplish the company's mission. - Performs inspection, servicing, and repair of aircraft and equipment IAW applicable technical publications and local policies and procedures. Assists in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness. - Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice support and OJT training) to permit assimilation of the customer's trainees; the final aim being to enable the customer's technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carry out maintenance. - Completes all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities IAW DA PAM, applicable technical publications, and local policies and procedures. - May be requested to perform rated and/or non-rated crew member duties to facilitate completion of maintenance activities such as Maintenance Test Flights, - Maintenance Operational Checks, and operation of diagnostic equipment during ground and/or flight (subject to completion of a flight physical). - Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead.
OTHER FACTORS Must be willing to travel in support of the company's operational requirements. Knowledge of computer applications. Basic use of MS Office suite and applications (Word - Excel - Power Point-Project) Outlook, Adobe and the internet These are permanent roles, but essentially a 2 year (24 MONTH) contracts initially with the option to review after this period. 24 hour shift pattern comprising of 8 hour shifts - Mixture of days and nights Roles will be based at various military sites throughout Abu Dhabi
