Job Description

Job Purpose:


To supervise, coordinate, and ensure safe and efficient execution of mechanical works in oil & gas projects, holding valid permit-to-work (PTW) authorization, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise day-to-day mechanical activities (installation, maintenance, repair, and shutdown works). Act as Permit Holder for mechanical jobs, ensuring compliance with PTW system. Review work permits, risk assessments, and method statements before execution. Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, safe work practices, and company policies. Coordinate with Operations, HSE, and other disciplines for safe job execution. Manage workforce, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines. Inspect and verify mechanical equipment, piping, valves, and structural works. Ensure quality standards are met and prepare required reports/documentation. Identify and resolve technical issues on-site in coordination with engineering. Support commissioning, shutdown, and maintenance activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience:



Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects (construction/maintenance/shutdown). Valid Permit Holder authorization (Company/Client approved). Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, rotating & static equipment. Familiarity with international codes, standards, and safety procedures. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
