We have an opportunity for the MEAI HCI Finance Lead to join our Honeywell Connected Enterprises team in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will play an important role in managing financial performance and implementing finance strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will support Honeywell business leaders and support to drive finance initiatives and decisions. You will also play important part to identify trends and developments in competitive environments and support the management outcome decisions. MEAI HCI Finance Lead Responsibilities: Service Delivery
  • Reporting and in-depth analysis of periodical financials (P&L, B/S, Free Cash Flow, etc.)
  • Determine financial status by comparing and analyzing plan and/ estimate with actual results.
  • Develop and implement financial trend reports to identify performance issues within the business and risks or opportunities in current financial plan/estimate.
  • Compile required management reports (such as Cost Centre Reports/Indirect spend / Travel Expense/OEF, etc.) and provide adequate level of variance explanations.
  • Help develop, deliver, and provide analytics for all periodical managerial reporting.
  • Partner with SBG/SBU & COE Leadership to enhance current process metrics & performance measurement system in line with key industry practices & HON
  • Support ad hoc requests for data mining and analysis.
Business Partnering
  • Exposure to Pole Business with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Partner with the business in driving key business goals and initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support for periodical business reviews and decision making.
  • Possess continued process improvement mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Provide value-added service by contributing to the financial and operational insight and maintaining strong relationship with business counterparts.
Process Efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements which include driving process improvement projects.
  • Identify and introduce best practices that add value to the processes.
  • Identify potential problems and follow established mechanisms for reporting and escalations and make alternative recommendations to Management.
  • Commitment and demonstrated ability in completing the deliverables reliably and accurately on time.
  • Indicate the education level, previous experience, specific knowledge, skills and abilities required to meet the minimum requirements for this position
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Finance or Commerce with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A
  • CA, ICWAI, MBA, CIMA, CFA, CPA or equivalent qualified is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and technical skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience in working on STRAP/AOP/Estimate process
  • Good Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Essbase, Business Objects and Hyperion Financial Management and should have flexibility to adapt to different ERPs/Reporting tools.
  • Strong business acumen coupled with financial prudence.
  • Excellent Data Mining skills.
  • Strong financial analysis skills: ability to think outside of traditional role to evaluate business implications
  • Ability to learn quickly and improve / implement any new models/processes.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and balancing workload demands
  • Strong systems knowledge with ability to develop complex financial models and reporting packages dealing with large amounts of data.
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral) and strong interpersonal skills are added advantage.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing work environment and requirements, work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and result oriented individual.
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude and focus on a win-win philosophy.
  • Demonstrated capability of managing multiple, concurrent tasks
  • Initiative /ability to work independently & effectively with minimal supervision.
