Currently, we are seeking for a MEA Airfreight Control Tower. In this role, the successful candidate will set high service standards and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and operational service excellence. He/She will support the business through involvement in network operations, escalations, business analytics and communication for customers & airfreight projects of regional importance.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as central point of contact for operational matters with regards to selected Airfreight customers or projects
Proactively identify operational gaps versus client expectations, address internally and support / drive corrective actions through operations' teams.
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the customers' business, expectations and requirements.
Regular communication with assigned customers to discuss service excellence, operational performance and any outstanding issues
Monitoring and analysis of operational performance, processes and performances to deliver service excellence.
Actively lead communication with Airfreight operations for issue prevention, resolution or escalations as required.
Identify areas of process improvements, drive the improvement initiatives with Airfreight Operations to ensure compliance to all DHL policies.
Support management in preparation and participation during business review meetings as required
Cooperate, collaborate and engage across other relevant functions (for example: IT, Security, Legal, Risk Management, Sales).
Support the on boarding process of new clients into the Control Tower Organization
Actively support and explore business development opportunities with existing and potential customers.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics/supply chain operations environment, including experience in Airfreight operations.
Experience in a fast paced dynamic organization.
Results driven with excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve problems quickly - strong decision-making skills.
Strong time management and organization skills to manage several concurrent projects and priorities.
Strong analytical skills (focus on end state solution and structured approach)
Ability to communicate and work in a global environment, across different cultural backgrounds with the necessary sensitivity
Qualification in Logistics or Business desirable
Strong Airfreight knowledge
Project Management or Process Improvement qualification desirable
Excellent MS Office & technical skills
