Position Summary - Mathematics Teacher

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction at the school and undergraduate levels. The role includes full responsibility for course planning, curriculum delivery, assessment, and student supervision. The faculty member will actively contribute to departmental academic and administrative activities as assigned by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications & Experience

Master's Degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline Demonstrated excellence in mathematics teaching Experience in supervising student projects, assignments, and assessments Strong record of academic involvement, professional development, or community engagement Experience teaching diverse student groups is an advantage
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver mathematics courses aligned with approved curriculum and academic standards Plan, design, and implement engaging lessons using effective teaching methodologies Assess, evaluate, and monitor student academic progress, providing timely and constructive feedback Support students in developing analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Motivate and inspire students to achieve academic excellence and confidence in mathematics Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment Utilize appropriate teaching aids, technology, and learning resources Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and institutional activities Perform additional academic or administrative duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and applied problem-solving Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to supervise and guide student academic work effectively Capability to provide academic advising and learning support to students Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital teaching tools Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and diverse student populations
