Job Title: Consultant - Maternal & Fetal Medicine (MFM)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Maternal & Fetal Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing expert care for high-risk pregnancies, advanced fetal diagnostics, and multidisciplinary management to ensure the highest standards of maternal and fetal outcomes in line with DOH regulations and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the clinical management of high-risk obstetric cases, including maternal medical disorders and complex fetal conditions.
Perform and interpret advanced prenatal diagnostics, including level III ultrasounds, Doppler studies, fetal echocardiography (if qualified), amniocentesis, and CVS.
Provide comprehensive antenatal counseling to patients and families.
Work collaboratively with obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthetists, genetic counselors, and allied health professionals.
Ensure adherence to DOH policies, clinical governance standards, and patient safety protocols.
Participate in teaching, training, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Medical Degree with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Fellowship or subspecialty certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine / Fetal Medicine (e.g., Arab Board, MRCOG with MFM subspecialty, American Board, Canadian Board, or equivalent).
Valid DOH (Abu Dhabi) Consultant license or eligibility.
Minimum 3-5 years of post-fellowship experience as a Maternal & Fetal Medicine Consultant.
Proven expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and advanced fetal imaging.
Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach.
