Position: MATERIALS SCHEDULER SUPERVISOR
Based: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Material Scheduler will be responsible for managing materials planning variables to maximize the level of consumptions raw and packaging materials, as well as managing the optimal inventory levels that generate tangible savings to the company, without compromising compliance production plan. A person in this role will validate and update the list of materials and their standards of consumption (production recipes) when required by changes in recipes, use of promotional materials, etc., for the purpose of having the right inventory at the required time.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing support to Procurement department in the calculation of projected needs for raw and packaging materials in the long term.
Informing production planner of any failures related to supply that can affect program and the production plan implementation.
Generating reports and performance indicators to monitor the decisions taken regarding to the administration of raw and packaging materials.
Supporting the determination of the release dates of new products or makeover in order to ensure timely supply.
Supporting the determination of the rationalization of existing SKUs to minimizing the raw and packaging materials obsolescence
MRP analysis and administration of raw and packaging material consumed, based on the production plan for the purpose of ensuring the timely and continuous flow of materials and inputs, generating material requirements (requisitions).
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineer will be preferable. Previous experience in Planning: 1- 3 years of experience. Type of experience must be proved in Supply Chain Management, Planning or other departments related, ideally gained from working in Food Industry. Knowledge of raw and packaging materials, mathematics and statistics. Flexible attitude; ability to deal with various challenges and goals set up by the Planning department. Ability to achieve results regarding inventory level and materials consumptions coverage. Knowledge food consumer goods. Knowledge of inventory management and SAP system. Strong communications skills and ability to work with various stakeholders across different business departments. Proactive and result-oriented attitude. Numerical and analytical skills.
