To plan and manage an efficient and responsive spares support methodology and processes to support EK aircraft. Ensure timely initial provisioning and re-provisioning through efficient inventory management and control mechanism to provide cost efficient, responsive and robust support system to achieve desired service levels with optimum stock levels. To set up an efficient support system to meet all operational and AOG requirements at main base and EK outstations.

Job Outline:

- GENERIC
- Develop timely initial provisioning plan for aircraft, power plant components, Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) and Inflight Entertainment (IFE), by analysing manufacturer recommendation and establishing requirements/timelines to be able to effectively support fleet EIS/Retrofit/Refresh. Coordinate with FTM, Maintenance, Procurement, Contracts and other stake holders to develop a comprehensive material support strategy to support EIS/Retrofit/Refresh.
- Ensure periodic surplus review inventory review to maintain optimum inventory levels to identify surplus stock as a result of reduction in requirement due to phase out, modifications and/or obsolescence.
- Establish material planning procedures and methods applicable to different types and categories of aircraft parts in order to maintain cost efficiency whilst achieving optimium level of spares and materials.
- Develop human resource quality through effective leadership and guidance to develop an efficient and conducive working environment and providing them all necessary tools and resources to achieve organisational objectives and individual growth.

- SPECIFIC
Rotable Planning, Inventory Control, Outstations & Operations Support
- Ensure periodic float review aircraft and engine spares to meet operational requirements and to support fleet growth by timely planning of required materials, to meet service level bench marks. Ensure that timely review scrap cases is carried out to replenish inventory where necessary to achieve/maintain the recommended float levels.
- Ensure that all material demands for heavy maintenance inputs are reviewed and supported in a timely and cost effective manner to maintain check milestones and release dates. Ensure support for End of lease (EOL) aircraft components requirements not meeting EOL conditions and obligations.
- Develop & implement effective process and ensure required resources are available to support recovery of EK AOG aircraft both at main base and all EK outstations. Support the AOG Desk team where escalation is required.
- Ensure desired material support at all EK line stations as recommended stock of required spares, material, tools, and equipment. Engage with various internal and external stake holders to ensure optimum and efficient support in view of changing operational environment and/or technical/logistics compulsions. Also ensure periodic review of out station inventory to make adjustments as and when required.
- Ensure effective and robust stock taking of EK inventory at main base and all EK out stations. Also develop procedures and methodology to accurately determine inventory values, monitor changes and liaise with Engineering Systems to resolve discrepancies.

- SPECIFIC
Material Planning Airframe, Engine, Cabin & IFE
- Ensure timely replenishment/approval availability of aircraft materials required for aircraft in operation and aircraft under maintenance. Maintain despatch reliability in order to avoid delays in check completion.
- Maintain stock availability of required materials to support Emirates Engineering Workshops requirements
- Support Procurement in initiation, negotiation and finaisation of contracts related to aircraft spares, tools, consumables and services.
- Establish and implement procedures for service level and nil stock analysis of repairables, expandable & Consumable parts. Establish reports and measures to provide guidance for item level analysis, provide recommendations and implement preventative/corrective actions in order to achieve/maintain service levels.
- Establish a strategy & Organise timely scrapped repairables review of aircraft, engine, Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) and Inflight Entertainment (IFE) spares through effective use of EK inventory and repair system to support aircraft maintenance, fleet increase and maintain despatch reliability.

Engineering.Planning : 8+ Years

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :

Experience in Engineering, Materials Management, Planning Knowledge/skills: - Knowledge of inventory systems, forecasting and material management. Good knowledge of other related maintenance and engineering functions and associated interface with material planning and inventory control. - Good knowledge of aircraft systems including maintenance philosophies, practices, policies, procedures and ATA specifications. - Complete knowledge of probability theories, inventory systems, models, principles of forecasting and materials management. - Strong analytical skills.
