ExecuJet MRO Services is currently seeking a suitably qualified Materials Coordinator to fill a vacancy within the Stores/Logistics Department. The main objective of the role is to perform all the functions and activities independently and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Updating Corridor system for each transaction and tracking files on time.
Preparing and attending meetings (internal and external).
Processing Quote Requests including Counter Sales for parts and tooling.
Processing orders for Parts, Tools, and Service Requests.
Ensuring AOG, MRT and Work Stoppage orders and repairs are prioritized and followed up effectively for timely receiving/return.
Analyzing and ensuring low-stock items are quickly replenished with the best available pricing and lead time.
Following up on open orders for earliest possible closure.
Coordinating with all department personnel, ensuring a seamless flow of communication to achieve expectations within the specific timelines.
Communicating effectively and promptly with suppliers, customers, service providers, freight forwarders and others to achieve expectations.
Relaying information to colleagues for actions to be taken in your absence.
Resolving discrepancies with Receiving, disputes with billing, unauthorized use of accounts, following up credits, replacement parts, etc.
Validating the AWB tracking information in the AWB Tracking shared file.
Ascertaining and allocating freight charges to the respective Work Orders.
Estimating freight costs for billing pre-paid customers.
Answering queries on freight charges from Billing and Finance teams.
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
Supporting the Warranty team with any assistance requested.
Supporting Materials and Stores staff with any assistance requested.
Taking on other duties and responsibilities as delegated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the aviation industry.
Previous experience purchasing Aircraft Materials in an MRO environment.
Working knowledge of Aircraft OEM and/or parts distribution channels.
Understanding of Technical Data such as Service Bulletins, Drawings and IPC.
Interpret Contracts and Terms and Conditions of agreements.
Knowledge of Aircraft Materials, their acceptability with regards to Aviation Authorities and Goods Receiving.
Understanding of Supply Chain and industry best practices.
Working knowledge of Computer systems in support of Materials and Logistics.
Desirable
Experience in a Business Aviation spares purchasing department.
Previous experience in an MRO or Aircraft Spares Warehouse handling aviation specific materials.
Good knowledge with aircraft parts and tooling.
College level education in Aviation Maintenance or Logistics.
IATA Dangerous Goods Handling qualification.
Experience with Corridor ERP.
