Position Overview

The

Material Engineer

will be responsible for ensuring that all materials used in projects meet required specifications, standards, and project requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of construction materials, testing methods, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, select, and approve materials for projects. Review material submittals, specifications, and test results to ensure compliance with project standards. Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely material delivery and quality. Conduct site inspections to verify material usage and compliance. Liaise with suppliers, laboratories, and consultants regarding material testing and certification. Prepare technical reports, material comparison sheets, and quality documentation. Ensure all materials comply with local regulations and international standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in

Materials Engineering

,

Civil Engineering

, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Material Engineer in

villa and commercial building projects

. Strong knowledge of construction materials (concrete, steel, finishing, waterproofing, etc.). Familiar with international standards (ASTM, BS, ACI, etc.) and local building codes. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and material management software.
