Job Description

As a Demand Planner at Halcon, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between customer requirements and production capabilities. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and consolidating demand from various internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective planning to support operations. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Programs, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure production schedules align with organizational goals and are executed efficiently through SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and circulate monthly demand derived from project inputs to initiate supply planning activities
Develop and maintain production schedules based on projected demand to ensure customer satisfaction
Modify and adapt production plans in response to engineering changes and material availability
Coordinate closely with Program Management, Engineering, SCM, and Manufacturing to fulfill demand on time
Ensure ERP (SAP) systems are updated with real-time data, including material consumption and activity confirmation
Develop short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts at various aggregation levels
Validate demand plans using cross-functional data inputs as part of integrated business planning
Analyze supply-demand constraints and risks; recommend actions for inventory optimization
Generate and present monthly KPIs and performance reports across departments
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
10-12 years of experience in demand planning and project scheduling
Strong hands-on experience with SAP for planning and reporting
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with consistent results
Fluent in English
Preferred:
5+ years of industry or region-specific experience
Experienced in business planning and S&OP processes
