Consider factors like environmental impact, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct tests to evaluate material properties (e.g., strength, durability, water resistance).
Work with suppliers to ensure that materials meet quality standards before being used in a project.
Ensure materials adhere to safety codes and regulations, such as fire safety standards.
Work with procurement teams to source materials that meet budget constraints without compromising quality or design requirements.
Identify cost-effective alternatives to high-end materials without sacrificing the overall aesthetic or function of the project.
Collaborate with designers and architects to choose materials that align with the overall vision of the interior fitout.
Provide technical support and consultation during design and construction phases, especially regarding material properties and installation methods.
Focus on sustainable materials, such as those with low environmental impact, energy-efficient properties, or those that are recyclable or biodegradable.
Stay updated on new trends and technologies in sustainable interior fitouts.
Help ensure that material procurement and delivery are on time, helping to keep the project on schedule.
