Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly capable

Material Engineer

with at least

5 years of experience

to support our

civil and electrical engineering teams

across a range of infrastructure and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in the selection, testing, and quality assurance of materials used in both structural and electrical systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure material performance meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project requirements and recommend suitable materials for civil (e.g., concrete, steel, asphalt) and electrical (e.g., cables, insulators, coatings) applications. Conduct laboratory and field testing on materials to verify performance, durability, conductivity, thermal resistance, and other key parameters. Ensure all materials meet relevant national and international standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, IEC). Develop and maintain material specifications, technical data sheets, and quality control procedures. Provide technical support to procurement and construction teams during material sourcing, inspection, and installation. Investigate and resolve material-related issues such as failures, non-conformance, and durability concerns. Prepare technical reports and present findings to engineering and project management teams. Stay informed about new materials, technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation and sustainability.
