Material Controller - Construction

One of the fastest growing Construction/Property Developing Companies requires a Material Controller - Construction for its building construction projects in Dubai, UAE.

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, or a related field Minimum 7 years' experience in material management within the

construction industry

. Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and storage methods. Proficient in inventory management software

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update stock register on a real time basis to maintain the minimum stick level and request materials through the maintenance manager.

Ensure that the incoming materials are inspected in terms of quality, quantity, shelf line and suppliers' delivery note for compliance by the person concerned before entry in the stock register and make proper arrangements for the stacking of materials.

Manage the delivery of stock into the store, checking that it matches against the invoice

Unpack all deliveries, placing stock safely and correctly in its designated location.

Control and manage the transfer of stock to and from the store and the return of stock to the Warehouse

Prepare Goods Received Note for actual goods received, shortages, wrong & substandard materials.

Inventory & stock control of good received & issued.

Prepare costing of jobs for goods issued on requisitions received from supervisors.

Monitor and maintain minimum stock level for frequently used items
