Job Description
We are looking for a Material Controller for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (On site)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 24 Months
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Minimum Qualification: Undergraduate - Major: Materials Engineering
- Relevant Experience: +7
- Language Preference: English
- Oversee and manage the inventory of materials and equipment required for oil and gas projects, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast material requirements, placing orders in a timely manner to avoid project delays.
- Ensure all materials received meet project specifications and quality standards, conducting inspections and maintaining documentation accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of material usage and inventory levels, generating reports to monitor progress and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate the logistics of material deliveries, ensuring timely transportation and compliance with safety regulations in the oil and gas industry.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to meet project schedules and address any material-related issues that arise.
- Monitor material costs and work to identify areas for cost savings while maintaining quality and project timelines.
