Material And Qaqc Engineer
Job Description
A leading construction company is seeking a highly motivated Material and QA/QC Engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all materials, workmanship, and site activities meet project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in DMT (Department of Municipalities and Transport) submissions, ensuring compliance with local authority requirements, project specifications, and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and submit QA/QC documents in line with
DMT requirements
. Conduct on-site inspections of materials and construction activities. Monitor compliance with project quality plans, standards, and procedures. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants for material approvals. Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including ITPs, reports, and checklists. Identify non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and track resolutions. Support audits, inspections, and project close-out activities.Proven experience as a Material and QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry.
