Description: SALARY $20-$22 per hour SUMMARY Coordinate activities of workers engaged in receiving, shipping, and material handling. Ensure the accurate receipt and shipping of material while providing service to internal and external customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Coordinate the activities of the team to ensure efficient receiving, shipping and material handling. Process incoming receipts and shipping orders through the internal Epicor software system. Load or unload trucks. Scheduling trucks for delivery/pick-ups. Research and audit inventory. Perform inventory transactions in Epicor Develop procedures for receiving and shipping activities. Package materials to support outbound activities. Support housekeeping activities. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Able to operate Microsoft Windows or equivalent and ability to process incoming receipts and shipping orders through internal Epicor system. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have a valid driver's license. Forklift experience preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively to peers and management regarding all facets of departmental procedures and policies. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
