Job Description

MASTER CUTTER required For Uniform factory in musaffah

1- Assemble garments parts and join parts with basting stitches, using needles and thread or sewing machines.

2-Confer with Designers to determine types of material and garment styles desired.

3- .Develop copy or adapt designs for garments and design patterns to fit measurements, applying knowledge of garment design, construction, style and fabric.

4- .Fit, alter, repair and make made-to-measure clothing, according to customer's and Management's specifications and applying principles of tailoring.

5- .Fit and study garments on customers to determine required alterations.

6- .Position patterns on fabric; mark the same and cut fabric along outlines using scissors.

7- .Determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of materials & fabric accordingly.

8- .Sew and cut garments using needles, pins and sewing machines; utilize machines or any other equipment used for tailoring.

9- .Prepare and adjust mannequins to actual measurements of client.

10 .Meet clients and take measurement (In the office or outside if required).

11- .Create paper patterns according to measurement.

12- .Discuss models with Designers in order to achieve desired effect

13- .Select suitable fabrics for each model.

14- .Discuss working processes with Designers & Tailors and oversee the whole production.

15- Train and support existing and new staff.

REQUIREMENTS Experience: 3 years minimum . Experience in UAE, UAE driving license: is an advantage .

Visa , medical , accommodation , Annual leave and Eos as per UAE Labour Law
