Job Description

:

Massage Therapist is responsible for treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. The therapist should be good at perceiving client wishes and needs through spoken language, demeanor and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide 60-90 minute massages to clients by appointment. Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire. Suggest future massage appointments to clients. Maintain the equipment and sanitize them. Performs hot stone, deep muscle, or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours. Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude. Follow all practice policies and protocol.

Skills & Qualifications:

Completed 500 hours of massage therapy courses. Must hold massage therapy certification. At least two years of experience as a professional massage therapist. Experience working in a spa preferred. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Time management skills. Demonstrated sales and customer service skills.
