The Massage Therapist is an expert in therapeutic body care, with strong understanding of body anatomy in order to provide a range of non-medical, relaxation and sophisticated treatments. Key Responsibilities Provide a variety of non-medical and relaxation treatments customized to a client\xe2\x80\x99s needs as well as recommend appropriate products and after-care. Perform Therapeutic massage of soft tissues and joints and assist in the assessment of range of motion and muscle strength, or propose the types of massages that would be beneficial including mini facial and lip/ eye treatment. Offer knowledge of body structure and conduct skin analysis to detect any allergies or health issues/ injuries/ stress / pain before performing a specific service. Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product. Comply with all procedural guidelines pertinent to massage therapy and Interact professionally with client during massage while adjusting techniques to meet their needs . Ensure service rooms are fully prepared, stocked before any treatment as well as assist in cleaning and tidiness of the treatment areas. Make sure that all equipment and utensils are appropriately sterilized and adhere to health and safety regulations . Take all massage precautions and provide clients with guidance and information about techniques for postural improvement, stretching , strengthening , relaxation exercises. Actively promote and upsell the treatments, services and retail, as well as the newsletter promotions. Perform inventory and restocking assignments in work stations.
