Job Description

As a Block Mason, your role will be responsible for carving, laying and binding bricks to build or repair structures & surfaces.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following;

• Carving out and building structures and surfaces

• Building stone walls, walkaways, fences, walls, and roads using a variety of materials including concrete, marble, stone, wood, and bricks

• Spreading a mixture of cement, lime, sand, and water with a trowel onto surface

• Cutting or sawing bricks to fit around windows and doors

• Placing materials, such as brick, on mortar bed

• Laying out dimensions using blueprints

• Installing firebrick linings, refractory tile in high-temperature boilers, furnaces, cupolas, and ladles

• Building & Repairing air walls, floors, partitions, fireplaces, chimneys

Skills
The ideal candidate must have minimum 2 years Masonry experience and excellent physical dexterity attribute.
