About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Maintenance Technician/Mason

to join our Maintenance team at our GMP-certified veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on position responsible for building maintenance, painting, epoxy floor installation and repair, general repairs, cleaning, and garden care.

The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled technician who takes pride in maintaining our facility to the highest standards required for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Building Maintenance & Repairs

Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility Fix minor plumbing issues (leaks, drainage, water connections) Repair and maintain doors, windows, locks, and fixtures Conduct electrical minor repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets) under supervision Inspect facility regularly to identify maintenance needs Respond promptly to maintenance requests from production and office staff
Painting Works

Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, filling cracks) Apply paint to walls, ceilings, doors, and metal surfaces Maintain clean and professional finish in all areas Touch-up and repair painted surfaces as needed Ensure proper paint selection suitable for pharmaceutical facility requirements Follow GMP guidelines for painting in production areas
Epoxy Floor Installation & Repair

Apply and repair epoxy floor coatings

in production areas, warehouses, and laboratories Prepare floor surfaces (cleaning, grinding, crack repair) Mix and apply epoxy resin systems according to manufacturer specifications Ensure proper curing and finishing of epoxy floors Repair damaged or worn epoxy flooring sections Maintain smooth, seamless, and cleanable floor surfaces as required by GMP
Cleaning & Housekeeping

Maintain cleanliness of facility premises including production support areas, warehouses, offices, and external areas Clean and organize maintenance workshop and storage areas Dispose of waste properly according to facility procedures Support deep cleaning activities when required Ensure proper hygiene standards are maintained throughout the facility
Garden & Outdoor Maintenance

Maintain factory garden and landscaped areas Water plants, grass, and trees regularly Trim hedges, bushes, and maintain lawn Plant seasonal flowers and maintain plant health Keep outdoor areas clean and presentable Maintain irrigation systems
General Duties

Assist with furniture and equipment moving when needed Support facility improvement projects Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools Report major maintenance issues to supervisor Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment
Required Qualifications : Education & Experience

Minimum: Secondary school education

3-5 years

of practical experience in building maintenance, painting, and construction work

Experience with epoxy floor installation is essential

Experience working in factories, pharmaceutical facilities, or industrial settings is preferred Valid UAE residency and labor card
Technical Skills

Must Have:

Proven experience in

epoxy flooring application and repair

Strong painting skills (surface preparation, application techniques) Basic masonry and plastering skills Knowledge of building maintenance and repair Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Understanding of facility cleaning standards

Preferred:

Basic plumbing skills Basic electrical knowledge (minor repairs only) Welding or metalwork skills (advantage) Experience with irrigation systems Knowledge of GMP facility requirements
Physical Requirements

Able to perform physically demanding work Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding) Able to lift and carry materials up to 25 kg Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Able to work in various weather conditions (indoor and outdoor)

Working Conditions

Work Hours:

Full-time, 6 days per week
