Carry out bricklaying, block work, plastering, tiling, stone installation, and related tasks.
Construct and repair walls, partitions, floors, and other structural components.
Apply smooth or textured finishes as per project specifications.
2. Site Preparation
Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
Measure, mark, and layout work areas accurately.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying base materials or bonding agents.
3. Material & Tool Handling
Mix mortar, concrete, grout, and plaster manually or using machinery.
Ensure correct material ratios and consistency.
Safely operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment.
4. Quality Control
Ensure all works meet company quality standards and project requirements.
Perform precise and clean finishing for aesthetic and structural integrity.
5. Safety Compliance
Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Identify and report hazards or potential risks immediately.
6. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trade workers.
Report daily progress, material shortages, and site issues.
Follow all instructions and complete tasks within required timeframes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a Mason in construction or fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to read basic drawings and measurements.
Physically fit to handle manual tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience preferred.
