Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out masonry and related maintenance work, including tile setting, plastering, blockwork, and concrete repairs throughout the hotel. Inspect and repair walls, floors, ceilings, and other structures to maintain the property's aesthetic and structural standards. Perform grouting, retiling, and sealing works in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas as required. Assist with minor carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks when necessary. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure all work is completed efficiently and safely. Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, minimizing disruption to guests and operations. Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Report required materials, tools, and equipment maintenance needs to the Engineering Supervisor. Support preventive maintenance programs and contribute to maintaining high hotel standards.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Mason in a hotel, facility maintenance, or construction environment. Skilled in masonry techniques, including tiling, plastering, and concrete finishing. Knowledge of proper material mixing, surface preparation, and finishing methods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
