The Sheetrock Installer (Drywaller) is responsible for installing and finishing drywall panels on walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. This includes preparing surfaces, taping, mudding, sanding, and ensuring a smooth surface ready for painting or finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to layouts.
Apply joint tape and compound to seams and screw holes.
Sand, smooth, and prepare surfaces for painting.
Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections.
Maintain cleanliness and safety on job sites.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in drywall installation and finishing.
Strong attention to detail and smooth finishing skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
