Requirements and Responsibilities:

Read sketches and blueprints to calculate the materials required. Ensure surfaces are waterproof, damp-proof, and restored. Repair and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. Level top surface concrete according to specifications. Help in developing the layout, sheathing, framing, and structuring of roofs. Utilize equipment as well as tools safely in every basic task of construction. Rectify the safety hazards as well as report to the manager or concerned person. Able to read and comprehend technical drawings. Mix cement and mortar on the job site as needed. building structures, such as those used in roofing and framing identifying and repairing compromised portions of concrete structures or bases demolishing, building, or modifying chimneys performing construction duties reading and interpreting blueprints for projects and documentation engaging in concrete finishing using a variety of tools and equipment to build or demolish structures identifying safety hazards and communicating them to the team smoothing and finishing concrete surfaces modifying landscapes using mowing or turf equipment building retaining walls cutting and installing stone structures using saws or other machinery lifting and installing blocks, stones, and bricks restoring existing structures mixing mortar and cement for use painting structures cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment

Qualifications / Skills:

Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety
