Job Description

The Mason is responsible to perform high-quality masonry and general civil works such as block laying, plastering, tiling, stonework, grouting, and repair of existing structures within the estate. The Mason ensures the structural integrity, aesthetic finish, and durability of all civil works in villas, service buildings, landscapes, and hardscape areas, upholding the luxury standards expected in a private estate.

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Certificate or Trade Diploma in Masonry, Construction, or Civil Works (preferred). Vocational training in tiling, plastering, or stonework (advantageous). Basic Health and Safety (HSE) awareness or training certificate (preferred). Ability to read and follow construction and layout drawings. Familiarity with UAE material types, climate durability, and local construction practices.

EXPERIENCE

:

5+ years of hands-on experience in masonry and finishing works, ideally in luxury villas, hospitality projects, royal residences, or high-end property maintenance in the UAE or GCC. Experience in new construction, renovation, restoration, and on-call repairs. Skilled in working within live, occupied environments with discretion and attention to detail.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Masonry & Construction

Skilled in block work, brick laying, concreting, tile installation, plastering, and wall repairs. Capable of creating smooth and level surfaces using proper techniques and finishing tools. Proficient in both structural and decorative masonry tasks.

Surface Finishing & Repair

Expertise in plaster patching, grouting, stone repair, and surface touch-ups for walls, pathways, pools, and hardscapes. Ability to match existing textures and finishes for seamless repairs. Experience in marble and granite installation or repairs is a plus.

Tool Proficiency

Efficient use of tools such as trowels, levels, mixers, grinders, and cutting tools. Responsible for tool care, material handling, and job site cleanliness.

Reading Drawings & Measurements

Ability to understand and follow layout drawings, sectional details, and design instructions. Taking accurate measurements for cutting, leveling, and installing materials.

Site Coordination & Communication

Collaborating with engineers, carpenters, painters, and maintenance technicians to execute work smoothly. Reporting work progress, material requirements, and structural issues. Adhering to timelines and quality expectations in high-standard environments.

Discretion & Professionalism

Working respectfully in occupied villas, family areas, or confidential spaces. Maintaining clean, safe work areas, especially during active household operations. High level of attention to detail, ensuring finishes meet aesthetic and structural expectations.
