Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mason to join our team at Seyana Team Technical Services in Dubai. As a skilled Mason, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of masonry work, including construction, repair, and maintenance of structures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of various projects. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and removing any debris or obstructions.
- Lay bricks, stones, concrete blocks, or tiles to construct or repair walls, foundations, chimneys, and other structures.
- Mix and apply mortar, cement, or other adhesives to secure materials.
- Cut, shape, and trim materials using hand or power tools to achieve the desired specifications.
- Install insulation materials and create waterproof barriers as required.
- Repair and restore damaged masonry work.
- Operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure project requirements are met within the specified timelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a skilled Mason.
- Proficiency in reading construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of various masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in different weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- 5 years of masonry (Required)
- English (Required)
