Key Responsibilities:
Build and repair structures
such as walls, arches, chimneys, and foundations.
Read and interpret blueprints
to understand project requirements and material specifications.
Prepare materials
by cutting, shaping, and dressing bricks, stones, and concrete to the right size and fit.
Mix and apply mortar
to bind materials securely and ensure a clean, professional finish.
Ensure alignment and accuracy
using levels and other tools to keep structures straight, plumb, and properly positioned.
Finish and clean work areas
for a polished final look.
Maintain tools and equipment
to keep them in good working condition.
Follow all safety procedures
and keep the worksite clean and organized.
Work with the team
including other tradespeople, supervisors, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow.
Assist or train junior workers
when needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Mason.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Good physical strength and attention to detail.
Commitment to safety and teamwork.
