to join our construction / maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, block, stone or concrete, as per project specifications and blueprints. This role demands high quality workmanship, reliability, and good adherence to safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and dimensions.
Prepare working area by setting up formwork, patterns and foundations.
Mix mortar, cement, grout as required, ensuring correct proportions and consistency.
Lay bricks, blocks, stone, or concrete to construct walls, partitions, walkways, retaining walls, steps, and other structures.
Cut, trim, shape and finish building materials to required dimensions.
Maintain alignment, level, plumb, and finish of masonry work; ensure joints are neat and consistent.
Remove excess mortar, clean surfaces, polish / finish as required.
Repair damaged masonry work or restore old structures.
Follow safety procedures; use personal protective equipment; maintain clean and safe working environment.
Collaborate with other trades, foremen, site supervisors to ensure tasks are completed on time and within scope.
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials; report requirements or shortages.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in masonry / bricklaying / blockwork / stone work, preferably in UAE or GCC.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings / blueprints.
Skilled in mixing mortar and concrete, using masonry tools safely and correctly.
Attention to detail, strong workmanship and finish quality.
Good understanding of safety rules, scaffolding, working at heights if required.
Basic English skills for understanding instructions and safety guidelines; additional languages an advantage.

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
