Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Interpreting blueprints and reading building plans to understand and implement the layout of masonry work Measuring distance and marking guidelines on surfaces to lay out work Lay bricks, blocks, and stones for walls, buildings, and other structures Perform plastering and cement rendering work on walls and ceilings Tile installation for floors and walls (ceramic, marble, etc.) Prepare and mix cement, sand, and other materials Read and follow construction plans or instructions from supervisors Repair and maintain masonry structures Follow all site safety procedures and guidelines Work with other laborers and tradesmen as part of a construction team

Skills:

Bricklaying and block work Plastering (internal and external) Tile fixing Concrete mixing and leveling Knows usage of masonry tools such as hammer, trowel, level etc. Understand measurements and levels
