Masjid Supervisor / Facility Incharge

Job Purpose:

To maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the Masjid premises ensuring a peaceful and clean environment for worshippers.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of prayer halls, ablution areas, toilets, corridors, and surrounding premises. Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and wash floors, carpets, and prayer mats. Ensure washrooms and wudu (ablution) areas are clean, well-stocked with soap, tissues, and water. Dispose of waste and maintain proper waste segregation and disposal. Support in setting up and cleaning after prayer times, Friday prayers, and religious events. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of shoe racks, shelves, and storage areas. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly. Follow hygiene and safety protocols at all times. Ensure a respectful and quiet presence in the Masjid premises during prayers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Male candidates only. Prior experience as a cleaner, janitor, or housekeeping staff (preferably in a Masjid or similar environment). Basic understanding of hygiene standards. Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks. Respectful, disciplined, and able to maintain confidentiality and decorum in a religious place. Basic communication skills (Arabic/English/Urdu preferred).

Working Hours:

Based on prayer times and Masjid schedule (may include early mornings, evenings, and Fridays).
