Job Description

As a Marketing executive you will be involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote a
product, service or idea, as well as planning, advertising, public relations, event organization, in
order to maximize profits through developing sales strategies that match customer requirements
and promoting products.

Job responsibilities:
To contribute to the implementation of services, the post holder will:-
  • communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
  • sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional,
national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the organisation and
the campaign;
  • managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers,
newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs;
  • writing and proofreading copy;
  • liaising with designers and printers;
  • organizing photo shoots;
  • arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
  • maintaining and updating customer databases;
  • organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and
exhibitions
  • contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
  • Managing budgets.
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns.
  • Monitoring competitor activity.
  • Supporting the Managing Director and other colleagues.

  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales
forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning
and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.

  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics
department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Supports reception team by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account
analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
  • Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics,
market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and
different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Communication
The post-holder should recognise the importance of effective communication within the reception
team, and with his work Colleague and will strive to:
  • Communicate effectively with all staff members
  • Communicate effectively with the Management and co-workers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize
responsibilities.

Personal/Professional Development
The post-holder will be subject for yearly performance evaluations by his line manager prior to
submission to the HR manager for review and sign off.

Quality
The post-holder will strive to maintain quality within the Practice, and will:
  • Understanding the product and customer profile and write thorough specs for each
conference/exhibition
  • Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and
highlighting where variances occur.
  • Producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign
  • Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met.
  • Alert other team members to issues of quality and risk
  • Assess own performance and take accountability for own actions, either directly or under
supervision
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and
making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team\'s performance
  • Effectively manage own time, workload and resources
