Job Description

As a Marketing Specialist for the Speakers Bureau, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote MENA Speakers, increase their visibility, and drive engagement and bookings. You will work closely with the speakers, event organizers, and internal stakeholders to create impactful marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the value and expertise of our speakers. Your goal will be to enhance the reputation and reach of the Speakers Bureau and generate qualified leads for speaking engagements. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy:
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to promote the Speakers Bureau and its speakers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Define clear value propositions and key messaging for the bureau's speakers.
  • Establish marketing objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
Branding and Positioning:
  • Develop and maintain a strong brand identity and positioning for the Speakers Bureau.
  • Ensure consistency in branding across all marketing collateral and communication channels.
  • Create compelling and persuasive content that effectively showcases the expertise and unique value of the bureau's speakers.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and impactful marketing materials.
Digital Marketing:
  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to raise awareness and generate leads.
  • Manage the bureau's website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
  • Utilize social media platforms, email marketing, content marketing, and online advertising to reach target audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to track campaign performance and make data-driven optimizations.
Event Marketing:
  • Collaborate with event coordinators and sales teams to promote speakers and secure speaking engagements.
  • Develop marketing plans and materials tailored to specific events, conferences, or target industries.
  • Identify and leverage partnership opportunities with event organizers, industry associations, and relevant influencers.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent the Speakers Bureau, network with potential clients, and gather market insights.
Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with speakers, understanding their unique strengths and target markets.
  • Collaborate with speakers to create customized marketing plans and materials aligned with their goals.
  • Provide support and guidance to speakers regarding their personal branding and marketing strategies.
  • Regularly communicate with speakers to gather testimonials, success stories, and other marketing assets.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, website traffic, lead generation, and conversion rates.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting the effectiveness of marketing efforts and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on marketing trends and emerging technologies to ensure the Speakers Bureau remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the events or talent management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, tools, and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and convey key messages effectively.
  • Proficiency in SEO, social media management, email marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing approaches.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
