Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a prolific and talented Marketing Specialist with a broad range of experience and skills across digital marketing and the B2B marketing spectrum.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for designing, managing and implementing the company’s marketing, communications and brand strategy. The successful candidate will be a generalist with broad and demonstrable experience growing businesses in the B2B space.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for reinforcing and growing Ecocoast’s position as a recognised and trusted global leader in the marine industry, building on its existing brand awareness, growing its reach and driving demand through qualifying and nurturing leads.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will drive all company marketing and communications activity, including but not limited to, online and social media, inbound and outbound marketing, content, CRM and branding.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, manage and implement the company’s marketing and communications strategy (digital and offline).
  • Manage the brand architecture, visual identity, and brand strategy for Ecocoast.
  • Working with the sales team, lead and manage the company’s client relationship program, including all associated client marketing and communciations related activities.
  • Strengthen existing, and launch new, products and brands.
  • Manage agency and freelance partners who help deliver the company’s marketing and communications plans
  • Ensure consistent presentation of new and varied content and customer outreach plans to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Generate marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and identify new business opportunities
  • Manage Public Relations and events
  • Carry out market research, analysis & reporting
  • Play an active role in the annual and quarterly business planning process with senior management team (SMT).

  • Reinforce and grow Ecocoast’s position as a recognized and trusted global leader in the marine industry.
  • Increase the company’s brand awareness among its existing and new target market.
  • Increase the company’s client retention and NPS rate through a market-leading client relationship program.
  • Grow Ecocoast’s reach, driving demand through qualifying and nurturing leads.
  • Grow marketing qualified leads and increase conversions through marketing activity.
  • Implementation of the company’s marketing and communications strategy.
  • Ensure all sales and business development activities are supported with on-brand, relevant and up-to- date content and market insights.
  • Ensure all company employees are aligned to, and support, the company’s brand messaging, visual identity and values.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role in the marine, manufacturing or industrial products industry.
  • Demonstrable experience growing businesses in B2B industry through developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent working experience in marketing, communications, design or business.
  • Broad experience across the marketing spectrum, including digital marketing, SEO, web design, content creation, branding, inbound and outbound marketing, client relationship management, sales marketing.
  • Past experience building audiences online or offline in B2B businesses.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and planning skills.
  • Methodical, reliable and focused.
