ADNOC Distribution markets, sells, and distributes transportation fuel to both retail and commercial customers. We also run non-fuel services at our service stations.

JOB PURPOSE:

Develop and implement the strategic marketing plan and programs, both short and long term and for all target markets, ensuring effective integration with business, in order to drive the achievement of marketing strategic objectives, aligned with the business vision.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Marketing Plans and Program Management
  • Manage the development and implementation of strategic marketing programs and forecasts to achieve agreed objectives, ensuring effective collaboration with the business to prioritize as needed.
  • Lead the development of the operating budget for marketing initiatives and monitor expenditure and performance against the established limits and initiates corrective action where necessary.
  • Plan and develop the pricing strategy for the services ensuring market competitiveness, attractiveness to new customer and profitability for the Company.
  • Lead market research to ascertain market and competitive conditions.
  • Monitor competitor services and marketing activities and modifies plans and programs to capture a larger share of the business, together with business leadership.
  • Define the scope of marketing projects and guide the development of detailed work plans which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete initiatives.
  • Determine the resources (time, cost, equipment, etc.) required and lead the development of schedules for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Review the project schedule with senior management and internal stakeholders and maintain and revise the schedule as required on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain close co-ordination and supervision between project resources to ensure seamless delivery of the project/s as per scheduled timelines.
  • Manage risks and plan for contingencies to ensure minimal impact on deliverables, establishing a transparent communication process to escalate, manage and resolve issues.
  • Monitor the progress of all initiatives as per the overall strategic marketing plan and adjust as necessary, and update stakeholders on the progress.
  • Ensure effective program management and periodic monitoring to achieve successful delivery of marketing initiatives as per plan and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with campaign team in the development of annual advertising and promotional plans.
Relationship Management
  • Manage key relationships with the internal and external customers (including advertising and research agencies etc.) for marketing planning related work to create and execute effective customer communication and ensure that these relationships continuously support the achievement of the marketing strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience in Strategic Marketing/ Brand Management, of which at least 5 years in a senior managerial role, preferably in the retail sector or in a similar environment.
  • Multi-functional project management experience.
  • Experience of developing strategic plans for service-based industry.
  • Strong experience in project management and the execution of complex projects that are critical to the delivery of business strategies and goals.
  • Regional exposure and retail background are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge in the formulation and presentation of Marketing plans and strategies.
