Job Purpose To design and deliver successful marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences, awards, and digital products in line with agreed KPI\'s. The successful candidate will be assigned to the events within dmg events\' security portfolio.
  • Planning, Campaign Management & Execution + Analysis & insight
  • Create and implement an integrated marketing strategy (including exhibitor, conference and visitor campaigns, as well as special events)
  • Set out and monitor entire budget, drop schedule and media plan
  • Use the full marketing mix to promote the exhibition and workshops in accordance with the marketing strategy and overall business objectives
  • Identify target universe and key segments within target universe
  • Develop personas, value propositions and messaging for each of the key segments
  • Develop and deliver Content Calendar through relevant channels (email marketing, social media, digital marketing, etc.)
  • Ensure show websites are fully up to date with latest information in accordance to campaign cycle
  • Maintain active social media channels in line with market expectations, monitor engagement and maximize conversion
  • Strategic database build. Ensure data governance and data management policies are adhered to
  • Manage PR agency in co-ordination with the Exhibition Director/Marketing Director
  • Use all media tools such as social platforms, explore new marketing channel.
  • Copy write and proof all marketing materials (in conjunction with Event Director) in line with the content calendar and messaging
  • Update and adhere to agreed marketing budget.
  • Provide KPI reports for update meetings with Marketing Director/Exhibition Director
  • Analyse previous marketing campaigns and KPI\'s to execute targeted data/campaign selections.
  • Analyse and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns
  • Identify appropriate media partners and associations and negotiate barter deals to maximize event exposure
  • Monitor campaign performance, produce relevant and timely reports and recommend changes to campaign execution based on data insights.
  • Monitor and adjust digital marketing activity based on performance metrics.
  • Use GA & Power BI (and other analytics dashboards if needed) to monitor & report campaign performance.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Marketing qualification is a must (university level or equivalent). Minimum Experience:
  • 5+ years - at mid level marketing, but not strictly event marketing
  • Proven experience as a junior marketing manager or similar role
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
  • Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles, budgeting, forecasting and reporting as well as marketing best practices
  • Familiar with social media and web analytics (e.g. Web Trends)
  • A proven track record of implementing successful marketing strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of market research data, data analysis and statistics
  • Excellent communication and people skills (Arabic & English preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities Creativity and commercial awareness
