The purpose of the Marketing Manager, Rest of World (ROW) role is to be the marketing partner in region and take ownership for creating and delivering the go-to-market strategy and plan across ROW markets.

How you\'ll help us make health happen:


  • Turn business objectives into an effective and measurable marketing strategy and plan to help the business achieve its commercial goals across B2C and B2B channels. Identify and build opportunities and platforms that align with the global brand strategy.
  • Effective budget management to support the marketing plan, allocate funds optimally, deliver best results without overspending and maintain a balanced investment-to-return ratio. Constantly analysing spend and recommending changes as necessary.
  • Lead, motivate and develop marketing executives to create strong working relationships within the team. Bring about a positive environment that promotes the achievement of functional goals and the business KPIs.
  • Responsible for the output and performance of our content and creative from appointed PR and creative agencies.
  • Utilise a variety of tactics and platforms to support demand generation and content building to drive brand awareness and pipeline growth. Support the B2C and B2B sales team with collateral and content to help them convert more prospects.
  • Tailor global messaging and creative assets for all markets across ROW. Understand Bupa Global and partner brand guidelines and own all financial promotions (banners, web pages etc) for annual regulatory review.
  • Ensure marketing and sales activities are connected, workflows are set up and campaign strategy is personalised through content creation, personas and brand experience.
  • Own and lead delivery of marketing reports to provide updates and analysis around ROI against various key performance indicators (KPIs) across ROW markets. Convey insights and findings to the senior management on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with wider marketing and digital teams and sales and compliance stakeholders, fostering an environment where strategies are tested, and innovative ideas are brought to life.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:


  • Successful track record as Senior Marketing Manager, with broad experience of using multiple channels, online, offline, events, sponsorships and PR.
  • Track record of paid spend optimisation across ROW and channels with budgets in excess of c.\xc2\xa31M.
  • Demonstrable experience of building and executing a marketing strategy that positively impacts awareness and pipeline growth.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English with the ability to present at executive leadership level and inspire a team.
  • Track record of managing external agencies for creative, media, PR and events
  • Budget management experience.
  • Experience of leading others; creating a positive team culture in a hybrid team.
  • Advanced PC skills, including Acrobat, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Knowledge of French, Cantonese or Arabic will be an advantage.
  • Strong collaboration skills working seamlessly with diverse teams globally.
  • Knowledge of International Private Medical Insurance is advantageous.
